ASP.NET Web Forms Application Development

ASP.NET Web Forms lets you build dynamic websites using a familiar drag-and-drop, event-driven model. A design surface and hundreds of controls and components let you rapidly build sophisticated, powerful UI-driven sites with data access. The sample web application was developed using Visual Studio 2013 and DevExpress components connecting to a SQL Server database. Views

A sample displaying a list of books from Amazon with a view icon to display the specific information in another window. The grid can be printed, sorted, and filtered by column. Some main feature are:

  • View list of items
  • View a selected item in another window
  • Print grid
  • Sort and filter grid by column

Reports

A sample displaying a Book Master Listing report using a standard report viewer. It supports paging and exporting report information in a variety of export formats. This report also shows how to embed a hyperlink with report detail to open a related web page in another window.

Charts

A sample displaying a line chart that can show a single or multiple charts on a single page. The charts can be printed or exported to multiple file formats.

Account Maintenance

A sample for maintaining account information. This technique could be used for storing a variety of information. Some main feature are:

  • Create, Read, Update, and Delete (CRUD) operations
  • Scroll forward and backward through records
  • Powerful Find feature to locate records based on almost any piece of information

Manufacturer Maintenance

A sample for maintaining manufacturer information using a grid for displaying information and a pop-up modal form for adding or updating information. This technique could be used for storing a variety of information. Some main feature are:

  • Create, Read, Update, and Delete (CRUD) operations
  • Scrolling and filtering using grid
  • Powerful columm filtering feature to locate records
